A long time coming

it's been a long time ................................

Lot's have happened since my last post. I've been installed as Grand Po bah.... Actually, President of our local Kiwanis Club. I had a good night after the installation dinner. I was almost into a drunken stupor, but made sure I stayed in bed, till almost noon to keep from getting a hangover. I didn't really drink to excess, but definitely had my fill of my long time friend, Jack Daniels.... Jack and I our very good friends.. We've been around the bend a few times.

I almost got picked up, by two different women that night. First the good looking local drunken sleaze bag. I wouldn't touch her with your???? The second was some drunk fitness chick who wanted to work on me. the only thing she could work on would be her on her knees..... Must keep this R rated,.......

The newest thing is my new computer.!!! I bought an Acer Laptop. I've been looking all over the internet at laptops and was really looking for a Toshiba or an HP Pavillian laptop. But Acer was always rated as well as the others and there is a lot of bad reviews for Toshiba's. So I got an
Acer laptop.

Walmart had a Secret Special Pre Holiday Sale. An Acer Laptop for $348.00. They also had three or four other things on sale that morning. But all I was interested in was the laptop. Not that I wouldn't mind having a 52 inch flat panel screen HDTV for $999.00, they only had one for sale that morning. Most people where there for the HD DVD player for $199.00.

Now how could I afford the new laptop, you might ask?? Well its simple. The Soc. Sec. Adm. changed the way they are paying me my disability. Since after checking all the files, they found out I was eligible for SSI from when I first applied for disability, and because SSI pays on a different day, they switched my pay day to the beginning of the month, I had an extra $400-$500 to spend.

I was waiting for Soc. Sec. to send me my back money owed from two years ago to when I first started to get my disability. So when I saw the sale on TV and the Walmart web page, I had to have one. I got my friend to take me to Walmart that morning, they had limited supplies of these sale items. I even bought breakfast for the both of us afterwards. The laptop is all I need . It might not have all the latest, fastest processor and all the best gadgets, but it's better than my old E Machine desktop.

Now later that week I got the first of three installments of the back money owed to me so I went wild and bought lots of stuff for the new computer. A new printer, I thought my old one wouldn't work with the new computer, A wireless router since my laptop has a wireless card in it. i also got a laptop case, and some other gadgets and devices for it. All in all, laptop and accessories I spent about what I would have spent just on a new Toshiba or HP laptop.

I'm very pleased with the laptop and everything I have. My only concern is battery life. It has only about 1:45 to 2:00 worth of life before it needs charging. Oh well. But that is the only problem. I've read lot's of reviews on Acer laptops and they seem to be pretty well liked. As with all laptops, the battery life isn't to long. They have a nine cell battery that is supposed to give an extra 25 to 40 % more battery life, but that cost's all most twice as much as the six cell. I'll get one when this battery wears out. Right now when I'm home, I use it plugged in and keep it fully charged. I also every other day unplug it and run it on the battery, till the low power alarm goes off, the I plug in the charger and charge it back up.

Now back to the Soc. Sec., they are fuckin' with me over how they will be paying me my back money. Because SSI will only pay in three installments, and Soc. Sec. pays in one lump sum, they have decided to do it with SSI. Just to make it stretch out over 12 months. So I will get a check next May then the next November. But these next check will be for about twice as much as what they sent me this last time. My monthly check will stay the same, with my Medicare part B being taken out of that automatically. I'm not rolling in dough, but it sure beats Welfare...

A sick day.........

I've had a weird week. Monday, I was sick all afternoon. I think I'm having problems with my gall bladder. I was down for the count all afternoon. Slept most of the afternnoon, when I wasn't in pain or feeling like puking.... Tuesday
I had to do Kiwanis stuff, and Wed. I had to visit then vampires for blood work for next weeks Dr's. appointment
Then played phone technician. Now today I'm just hanging out and doing some laundry. Nothing really to write about. Except...........

Now I know that there are a lot of people who need to get a life.... But when they get on elike the people who run a website I check out now and then, they need to find a life first, then get one.... The guy's are really out there and can be pretty disgusting and also very funny. I don't know why but they have been on a pretty disgusting trend of showing videos of people popping boils, squeezing out puss and stuff to nasty to describe.... But . enough is enough..... Go back to your usual disgusting crud and videos of people doing stupid stuff and all that porn that we like to watch.... .........By the way, i don't like all the beheading shit either....

That's my ramt for the day..........TTFN

Friggin Rain

I shouldn't complain, we've had a good summer so far, but I had to walk downtown this morning and got my ass soaked by the rain. A little water never haurt any one, but jeezzzzz, didn't anyone think of stopping and give me a ride.... Not here in this freakin town. A couple of them actually beeped their horn at me to say hello.. Next time assholes, stop and offer me a ride........ But they are the first people to ask for a ride from me when I had my truck and they needed a ride... Oh well, guess I'm fucked......

Good news, I got my first Soc. Sec. check yesterday. First thing I after leaving the bank was to go pay my cable bill and have them change my service. I'm tired of only getting 13 channels..... Yeah, I had the original basic cable set up..... Get's boring watch the same bullshit stuff and all the reruns.....
Oh well, feels good having a little money in my pockets....
Instead of being down to my last ten bucks after paying the bills......

Yes it sometime suck's to be me.......

I saw on the news and then on the internet somewhere, where a dog ate $800.00 of the owners money. Well that dog would be eating cheap dog food for a year if it was my money.
Nooooooo, I wouldn't shoot the dog like some people would, but the dog would be in deep shit for a long time with me.....
Knowing my luck, and if I owned a dog, the dog would eat my check and I'd have to jump through hoops to get another check to replace it.......
That would really suck......

Then it really really would suck to be me.............

Don;t worry, It doesn't suck to be ....... I'm just ranting....

Friday the Thirteenth. OOOOOOOO, AHHHHHHHHh

Well it's Friday and it's the thirteenth. No big deal, I'm not that superstitious. But a lot has happened since my last post. I'm all healed up from the surgery. I won my case for disability. I'm just waiting to get my first Soc. Sec. Disability check and the back money that is owed to me. Of coarse they already took out the money to pay my attorney. And he's already gotten his money. My money is still in their hands. It's not fair. I got my notice about three or four weeks ago. So the notice stated that the reason they held back the money was because they had to find out if I owed any SSI and other things. I didn't get any SSI so why the wait.
So I'm still waiting.
I guess I will be getting my first check next week. When I will get the back money that is owed to me, I don't know when. Now I hear they don't give you all the money owed to you in one lump sum. They give you some after you get your first check, then give you some more six months later. Then six months after that you get the balance of what is owed to you. That's not fair, but I guess it's what it is. Better to accept the fact that they will do what ever they want and you have to wait till hell freezes over to change the way they do their business.
Ir's almost half way through July and summer is in full swing and it's been really frigging HOT!!!!!. The yesterday and today are not to bad, but The first three day's I didn't leave my air conditioned apartment. Too hard to breath in the humid heat. Now hears something interesting. I have trouble breathing when its hot and muggy, but I had to get a new CPaP machine. My old one, (8-9 years) finally went on the fritz, so I got a new one. It has a heated humidifier on it. Because I have such a high pressure they recommend I use the humidifier. Now I definitely feel the difference when i use the humidifier. But it doesn't effect my breathing like the humid hot air. It definitely keeps me from drying out my nasal passages with the humidifier on. I guess it all comes down to atmospheric pressure.

I haven't had my daily rant yet, so here goes. The Big freaking deal the fucked up head cases in the all knowing media has made over the Chris Benoit double murder suicide. Who really knows what happened. The only people who really know are dead. And the big stink they have made about all the drugs in Professional Wrestling. Really, they get all these older wrestlers telling their sad old stories again and again. Then the media thinks everyone is doing the same stuff as old timers did so all of wrestling is using drugs, Steroids are rampant..... Well, did the media suddenly think that it's all wrestling's fault and not the individual who chose to use the drugs...... OH don't let me really get started about the big three worst arsholes in media. Billy, Heraldo, and Nancy..... They should all be taken out back and horse whipped or shot for being so fucking stupid.... Oh by the way, Nancy, yes you can fucking die from Sleep Apnea.......... That's enough...... Well time for my last cup of coffee for the day and time to go....

Day four

It's day four and I'm in pain. Not from my surgery, that's still tender. But my back is killing me. I wrenched it getting a fresh oxygen tank out of the closet yesterday. Of coarse I didn't think anything about it till I woke up at three in the morning to go pee. I thought I was crippled for life. Oh boy did it hurt. Took me almost two minutes to get out of bed and walk fifteen feet to the toilet. After I went back to bed, I couldn't get comfortable for quite a while. It must nave been after four when I got back to sleep.

Went grocery shopping this morning after I got up. Keith took me to Walmart..... I hate that place when it's crowded. It was crowded, so when I finaly got out I had to sit at Dunkin Donuts to calm down after puttin' up whith all the assholes in my way.... Tommorrow I have to go pay rent, so they had better not complain that I didn't pay on Friday, I weas at their office, and no one was there. Oh well, what they gonna do, kick me out......

Day after surgery..

Yesterday I had my skin cancer removed down in Cooperstown at Bassett. It was an interesting experience. I won't give you the details but it hurt like hell a few times. But I'm a tough guy and made it trough. Even with the pain meds, I had a few tense moments when The Dr. had to put one or two last stitches in. And as instructed, I took of the pressure bandagesthis morning. Ouch ooooooo. ouch, zowwwwwwieeeee. That pulled a lot of hair. And low and behold, it's still me under there. What was I expecting, you ask?? Brad Pitt or George Clooney, I think not.....
Well I'm not to swolen and I must say, my mini facelift looks better today. I guess my giid side git a little better. Theyhad to pul up a little skin to close so my right side is a little tighter that my left. Looks even better after my shower this morning.
Yes, they told me I could shower. I have these brown pieces of tape over the stitches. They will be with me till next week when I go back and have them removed. They used some pretty good glue to hold down the pressure bandages so it was tricky get them off. Of coarse they got a large percentage stuck in my hair, so I guess I'll be getting a hair cut pretty soon... Should have got on before the surgery.. My omly compalint is a little pain and my ear itching like crazy. I guess the glue is still on it, even after my shower. Oh welllllllll........!!!!!!

Wow, it's been a few months.......

Feb. was the last time I posted. It's been a while, so let's get things started. I'm all settled in, survived the winter and am going to put my air conditioner in today. It's freaking brutally muggy out. Not that uncomfortable of a temp but the air is stagnant. They have an advisory out for all of us people who can't breath for shit.....

I turned fifty in march. no big revelations, just another birthday. last week I finally had my administrative hearing for my Soc. Sec. Disability. Hopefully I'll get it. Won't no anything for a few weeks.

Got through another big month in March and April with our Kiwanis Club. We had our Basketball Game against the faculty at The High School, the bowlathon and our annual Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast. We are in the final drawing stages of our spring raffle. So I've been busy. I've also been asked if I would like to take over as the Treasurer for the Library in Frankfort.

In my recent trips to the doctors, we found a skin cancer so I had a couple of freaky days getting an appointment at a Dermatologist. They finally found me one in Cooperstown . So after an initial visit and biopsy, I have a Basil Cell Carcinoma. I get it removed next week on Thursday. No big deal I've had skin cancer before, I'll most likely have it again. That's what we get for being in the sun all the time when we were kids. I very seldom wore a shirt when I was a kid during the summer. And of coarse never wore a hat for protection. For the last ten to fifteen years though, I've been a lot more careful of the sun. I haven't had a real sunburn in at least that many years or more. The last time , I swore was the last. I hurt for almost three weeks after that burn. I had blisters on my blisters. So now it;s a wide brimmed hat and lots of sunblock. When I was younger, my hair was blond from being in the sun all the time, now, not so blond.

Well time to rant about something. Much though I shouldn't but what the f*%&,why not. The latest topic after Anna Nicole, {Don't get me started about her}, is Rosie. They, the network should make a really big freakin deal about her. They should publically and adamantly fire her ass. And make sure they make it hard for her to work in network television. I sometimes think Rosie has some interesting opinions and thoughts, but when you continually bash people because they differ with your opinion. Everything has to revolve around Rosie. If it doesn't ,she has fit's and bashes everyone or every thing. Rosie is a spoiled child who only knows how to bully people. Rosie, grow the fuck up.

Now that I've ranted I feel better, so I guess that's it, i need to get the air conditioner in, it's getting yucky in her to breath.....
