A Brand New Year

It's been a long time, two whole months since my last post. Wheren did the time go. I spent both holidays, Christmas and Thanksgiving at my sisters at the lake.... I had to baby sit the two dogs, Tucker and Lulu. Had a great time with the "two hodlums". Boy if you don't keep watch of them, you'll miss some funny moments.

During my visit at Christnas, I came down with pink eye. What a f'n mess and hassle. But luckily, there is a Rite Aid near by to get my prescription at my normal pricing. They have my info on computer so I didn't have to pay full price for the drops. So I couldn't take part in any alcoholic activities. No berr, or bourbon. That sucked... Oh well. But I was able to watch the ball drop on New Years eve with a Manhatan in my hand. I had just enough Manhatans so i was buzzed and content and didn't have a hangover in the morning..

Getting on to things happening in the new year, I finaly got somethimg from Soc. Sec. about my disability. They have received my request for a hearing by an administrative law judge. They will send me my court date in the future. It only took them fourteen months to get to this stage. What a bunch of f'n shit. I think they take this long to force people to give up, so they don't have to give out the Soc. Sec. Oh well. I'd best not think about it any more today, I'll fill up my blog with rants and lots of swearing .

I guess I haven't been consuming much bourbon or beer lately. Not because of having and being on antibiotics. I just haven't been drinking much. Just hadn't felt like it. But when I have, I've been drinking Sam Adams Boston Lager. I realy like Sam, it tastes like beer. During Thanksgiving, I bought a twelve pack of Micheal Dunde's Rainbow pack. Three bottles of four flavors. Honey Brown Lager. India Pale Ale, Porter and Lite Lager. I've alway's liked the Honey Brown. The Porter waqs good, and the IPA was not bad, but seemed a little light. I wasn't to pleased with the Lite Lager. If I have to drink light beer, I'll stick to Labatts Blue Light. While I was out at Sue's durinh Thaksgiving, we went out to The Lake House for lunch and I had Stella Atrois on tap. Nice clean easy to drink, kind of on the light taste, but very good.It was freshly tapped so I git the best of the barrel. I reccomend you to try it if you find it on tap somewhere. They usually have different beers on tap. I want the mirror they have on the wal. They've got a Newcastle Nut Brown Ale Mirror. It's huge, about 4 to 5 feet long. iwas kidding with one of the waitresses, that I wanted it. She said , stand in line, very one want's that sign. Oh well, I wonder if they would take a trade, my Dutch Masters Cigar mirror for it??? Most likely not. Theirs is about 4 times tha size of my Dutch Masters. I won't give up my Jim Beam Black mirror. So I guess I won't get that sign. Well enough is enough. I however have come across the sign I was looking for from the old liquors store. My baseball sign, Absolut Cooperstown. It's a real nice poster I need to get framed. It's big, three foot by 28 inches . Hope to find the right frame to put it in to hang on the wall.

Speaking of new things in the new year, I'll be moving again. Same building but down stairs on the first floor. I'll be one of the hall monitors........ Oh well, I know, I don't have that much time on my hands. besides, I'm not that nosy........
Well enough for now, I'll be able to blog more often, I have an internet conection full time now. So I don'rt have to go to the library or bumm from some one else. TTFN
